Mortal Kombat 11 is currently scheduled to release globally for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC on April 23. This marks the third time in a row that Scorpion will have appeared on the cover of a new release with 2011's Mortal Kombat followed by Mortal Kombat X - though he was actually left off of Injustice's Game of the Year Edition box art. Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind, if the box art is accurate, appears to be the third. The first gameplay reveal for Mortal Kombat 11 will be coming a week from now on January 17 where more playable characters and information about the upcoming fighter are also scheduled to be announced. A new Mortal Kombat movie appears to have surfaced online. The new artwork shows the newly designed Scorpion leaping forwards with his chain knife presented in his hand while the katana we saw him use in the announcement trailer can be seen off to his side. Mortal Kombat co-creator and Creative Director at NRS Ed Boon released what he says will be the official cover / box art for Mortal Kombat 11 on his Twitter account. ![]()
